Finger Millet(Ragi)Sorghmum Millet(Cholam) Flour Dosa

Ingredients needed:

Ragi(Finger) Millet flour / Sorghum Millet flour(Cholam) - 1 cup

Rice Flour - 2 to 3 tablespoon(optional, for crispiness)

Finely Chopped ginger - 1/2 teaspoon

Oil/Butter of your choice

Mixed Vegetables grated or finely chopped- 1 cup (carrot,beans,onions,cabbage) etc

Water - 1 to 2 cup as required

Salt - as per your taste

Black pepper - 1 teaspoon ground pepper as per your spice level required

Chili flakes / Green chili - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Cumin(jeera) powder - 1/2 teaspoon(As required)

Finely chopped coriander Leaves - few

Method to Make:

1.Mix Ragi flour,Rice flour,Vegetables of your choice, Salt and Water in a mixing bowl.

2.Make sure that the batter is mixed nicely without any lumps use a whisker to help.

3.Batter should be thin than normal Dosa batter.

4. Heat the Dosa Tawa and pour the batter from outside to inside add very little oil to cook.

5.After it is cooked on one side flip it on the other side add little oil if required. Make sure it is cooked well on both sides.

6.Yummy healthy Dosa is ready to be served with any chutney of your choice.

Tips:

1.One cup of Ragi/Cholam flour yields upto 8 to 10 dosas.

2.You can also use a Kuli Paniyaram pan to make kids friendly choices with the same batter instead of Dosa Tawa.

3.Mix along with Normal Dosa batter ferment it overnight boosts its nutritional value, making it easier to digest.
